Race Mode is ready

Open Play → Race Mode in the client to choose a course, chase your best time, and compete on global leaderboards. Sign in with Discord to save your runs online. Course maps must be installed.

Installing the client

Requires 64-bit Windows and an existing Quake II / Action Quake 2 installation. Back up your current client and configuration, extract the release package into your game directory, and launch aq2-x64.exe or the included launcher.

The Windows x64 client checks for newer releases on startup and offers a download when one is available. Downloads open in your browser; close the game before extracting the new ZIP. Your personal settings are not included in the package.
